Taxis for walkers and hikers

If you are having a day out walking or hiking in the Black Mountains then Monmouth Taxis can get you to your start location or pick you up from the end of your walk.

Abergavenny is at the gateway to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. It has a number of hotels and camp sites around the town and is an ideal base for your walking short break holiday in Wales.

Abergavenny is near to a number of long distance footpaths and can offer day walks that range from easy to challenging.

Take a stroll by the River Usk or the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal or for the more serious walker head for the mountains with their wildlife and stunning views.

Have a day walking by coming by train and we can pick you up at the railway station and take you straight to your starting point.

We'll shortly be publishing a list of popular walks together with the taxi price to and from various locations so you can budget your days expenses in advance.

If you are taking your dog we are happy to carry well behaved dogs but they must sit in the back of the car - we do not allow dogs into the passenger compartments.
